By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Healr is a self-help wellness application designed to support emotional recovery after a breakup. The App provides:

• Guided journaling (text and AI-assisted)
• Daily mood tracking and emotional check-ins
• Breathing exercises and meditation guides
• Progress tracking, milestone badges, and recovery courses
• Anonymous community support features

Important: Healr is not a substitute for professional mental health care. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.

3. User Accounts

• You may sign in using Apple, Google, or continue as a guest.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information during registration and onboarding.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Certain features of the App require a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store.
• Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal details are presented at the time of purchase.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings.
• Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple or Google, as applicable.

5. AI Features and Data Consent

• The App offers optional AI-powered journaling features powered by Anthropic, PBC (Claude AI).
• Before any data is sent to Anthropic, you will be presented with a clear "Data and Privacy" consent screen.
• You may decline AI features and use plain-text journaling instead.
• You may revoke AI consent at any time in Profile > Settings.

6. User Content

• You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (journal entries, mood data, photos).
• By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the App's services to you.
• You agree not to submit content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, or violates the rights of others.

7. Community Guidelines

If you use the App's community features, you agree to:

• Treat other users with respect and empathy.
• Not post personally identifiable information about yourself or others.
• Not engage in harassment, hate speech, spam, or promotion of harmful behavior.
• Not share content that is sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, content, graphics, animations, and branding, is owned by Healr and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

9. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on information provided by the App or its AI features.
• AI-generated responses are not professional advice and may not always be accurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Healr and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to emotional distress, loss of data, or reliance on AI-generated content.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via push notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
